Morgan R. Edlund
My financial journey began when I started teaching financial literacy courses at Ideal Credit Union. It brought great joy to see my community learn about the financial world and their financial future. I am a firm believer in helping people better understand the financial world, which is why I plan to become a Financial Advisor in the future.
Family time is becoming more and more important to me. I enjoy spending time with my mom; Bonnie, father; Tom, my sister; Alyssa and her husband; Miguel and my sister; April and her family. On the weekends we are often playing yard games, camping or watching a sporting event together. When not with family, I enjoy trying new restaurants and listening to live music with my friends. Summers are my favorite time because it is sand volleyball season. I try to keep an active lifestyle, by competing on two sand volleyball teams and participating in yoga and weight lighting classes.
I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a double major in Financial Planning and in Finance. While attending UMD, I was the student director of the financial planning club where I helped my peers learn about the financial world and their options available to them. Now I am actively involved in multiple clubs, where I am fortunate to have strong female role models and peers to help support each other.
I look forward to helping you.
