One of the most joyous parts of my job is helping clients alleviate the stress and anxiety that accompanies
financial planning. Through a strong relationship with my clients and a disciplined approach, I can help clients
define their goals and create a clear path to success.
Strong relationships are essential to me, and it all starts at home. I have a great passion for spending time with
my wife, Sharla, our three children; Brenden (22), Kaya (9) and Kieren (6) and, of course, our Great Dane;
Bettie. We enjoy going out together, listening to live music, and enjoying the world around us. I am also
deeply connected to the Farmington community where we live as well as being involved in the community in
which I work and serve. I am an active member of the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce and a member of the
Minnesota Business Aviation Association.
I attended the University of Mary in North Dakota and graduated with a Master of Management (Human
Resources) and Master of Business Administration. I earned my Uniform Combined State Law Examinations
Series 63 and 65, General Securities Representatives Series 6 registration, along with the Minnesota Life and
Health Insurance License.
For over nine years, I have had the pleasure of helping people navigate their financial journey and have
especially enjoyed working with Federal employees. My wife, Sharla, who is a Federal employed Air Traffic
Controller, has a Federal Employee Plan. I wanted to learn all the ins and outs of her plan, so I studied to earn
the designation of Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant (ChFEBC) and become an expert of the
Federal benefits. I enjoy helping Sharla’s co-workers and other Federal employees navigate their Federal benefits
and their overall financial journey.
